Le Marche is a region of rolling hills and beautiful beaches, it is sparsely populated too. Are you searching for the perfect place for a family holiday? then Le Marche with daily flights to Ancona, Forli and Pesaro may be just what the doctor ordered. Relax in spectacular scenery; soaring mountains, the white stones walls of Cagli, the cotto facades of Amandola, the art and museums of Urbania and Urbino. Of course, not everyone wants to escape to the country, lie by a pool and sunbathe. The coastal charms of Porto Recanati, Fano and Pesaro are popular outside of August but almost empty in June and September when the weather is still excellent.

Le Marche isn't famous for very much and as such remains an undiscovered and undeveloped pleasure. The British have embraced le Marche wholeheartedly and have begun to settle here in the central area near Macerata. They love the great weather, the reasonably priced shops and the restaurants where you dine out, eat well and pay little, "Si mangia bene, si paga poco", and adore the cheap house prices.

The shrine at Loreto, the medieval city of Ascoli Piceno, the hill top jewel that is Arcevia; wherever you go in Le Marche you will find something to capture the eye and draw you in. every town has a shopping area and many have developed outlet malls too where prices seem have been frozen for many years even if the fashions haven't. Dining out you'll find that truffles feature on most menus in the region as does game. From wild boar to woodcock richly flavoured dishes abound and with prices starting at 4 euros for a plate of pasta you can't go wrong.
